Briggs's Story

Hi, Im Briggs! Im a between 1 & 2 year-old Chihuahua mix, weighing in at a perfect 15 pounds—and Ive got a whole lot of love packed into this little body!

My story didnt start out so sweet. I was found abandoned in a crate on the side of a country road in Texas. But despite my rough start, Im ready to show everyone just how loving and happy I am.

Im great with dogs and kids, and I absolutely love to play! Ive even got some pretty impressive gator rolls when Im having a good time.

I should probably mention that Im not a huge fan of the crate. Can you blame me after my past? Id much rather be out with my people, where the fun—and the cuddles—are happening!

And speaking of cuddles... I am an expert snuggler. I would LOVE a home with a lap to call my own. Give me a cozy spot on your lap and Im staying put! In fact, if my person is working on the computer, I have absolutely no problem settling in and supervising. I dont budge.

I may be little, but my heart is HUGE. All Im looking for now is a forever family who will give me the love, safety, playtime, and endless snuggles I deserve.

If youve got a lap, Ive got a lifetime of love to fill it.

Briggs is being fostered in Aurora, Colorado.

*We require all adopters to come to Colorado to adopt. *We do not transport dogs.*

You can view this wonderful dog at https://www.milehighcanine.org/post/dogs/briggs/.

You can apply for our wonderful dogs at https://www.milehighcanine.org/adopt/adoption-application/.
