Brier's Story

Meet Brier

Brier is a stunning blue-eyed Mini/Toy Australian Shepherd weighing around 18 pounds—and yes, she knows she's beautiful. But beyond her striking looks is a smart, funny, energetic little soul who truly shines when she's in the right environment.

Brier is looking for a new home because she has struggled with one particular male figure in her current household. While she generally tends to prefer women, she does have a special male person she absolutely adores—so with patience, respect, and the right energy, she can form strong bonds. Because she can be a bit selective about her people, a meet-and-greet and possibly a short trial period would be ideal to ensure a perfect match for everyone.

This pretty princess gets along well with cats and seems to do better with male dogs, though she may be happiest as the only spoiled pup in the home where she can soak up all the love and attention. Brier is incredibly intelligent and thrives when she has mental and physical outlets—she needs activity, engagement, and a chance to use that busy Aussie brain. Training, games, structured play, or even a job to do would make her heart sing.

Brier is loving, loyal, and full of personality. In the right home—one that understands her sensitivity, values her intelligence, and is willing to let the relationship grow at her pace—she will be a devoted and joyful companion.

If you're looking for a beautiful, clever little dog who wants more than just a couch to sit on, Brier may be your girl.

Adopting a furbaby from the Giles County Humane Association saves two lives. Not only are you taking in a furbaby that was rescued from harms way but you are saving another furbaby by opening up a spot in our program! Contact us @ 931-363-5455. Since we are currently a foster-based organization, we do not have a building. You can see our adoptable animals at our Saturday adoption day at the PetSmart in Spring Hill, TN, 10:30am - 3:00pm. PLEASE volunteer and get involved, because the homeless animals in our community need us! And if you are not from around here but you would like to help, we always need donations. Whether it is cat or dog food or monetary contributions, we are always in need. P.O. Box 237, Pulaski, TN 38478 Find us on Facebook @ Giles County Humane Association Remember: DON'T SHOP ...
