Brie's Story
Meet Brie!

Brie is about 4 years old and 30 pounds, and she is equal parts adventure buddy, cuddle bug, and total character.

She’s the kind of dog who can head out for a long walk, hop in the car for an adventure, and then come home and happily curl up beside you with a bone. Brie has a great amount of energy without being nonstop — she loves getting outside, exploring, and staying active, but she also knows how to settle and enjoy a lazy afternoon at home.

Brie is incredibly affectionate and bonds closely with her people. One of her favorite moves is resting her head directly in your lap and waiting for the head and neck scratches she clearly deserves. She loves meeting new people, warms up quickly to guests, and is happiest simply being included in whatever her person is doing.

She’s potty trained, walks nicely on leash, rides well in the car, and can be left home alone for a few hours without a problem. She’s also getting more comfortable navigating the world around her and would love an adopter who will keep taking her on walks and adventures while continuing to build her confidence around other dogs.

And then there’s Brie’s decorating habit. She has been known to casually relocate a shoe, bag, or other household item to a spot she feels is more appropriate. She doesn’t destroy them — she just apparently has her own vision for the space.

Brie is sweet, silly, loving, and full of personality. She’d be such a great match for someone looking for a dog who can keep up on adventures but is just as happy coming home, putting her head in your lap, and calling it a day.

If you’re looking for a best friend with a big heart, a goofy streak, and excellent interior design instincts, Brie might be your girl.

INTERESTED IN ADOPTING?
To adopt apply on our website www.truenorthrescue.org/adopt and email adopt@truenorthrescue.org to follow up on your application.

PLEASE DO NOT EMAIL TO ASK IF HE/SHE IS AVAILABLE. IF THIS LISTING IS UP, THE DOG IS NOT ADOPTED YET.

Also, we have a very high volume of applications and we are all volunteers. We cannot respond to every application personally. Please make sure your application gives us a good picture of your family and the life you plan on providing a dog from our rescue. We choose a home based on the BEST FIT for EACH dog and approve on a dog by dog basis. Thank you!
