I’m sweet, sassy, agile, and spunky, and I run a very tight operation that mostly involves lap supervision and snack quality control. I also enjoy outings and long walks...in my carrier, of course.<br/>I’m small enough to carry, bold enough to guard the house from suspicious leaves, and loving enough to be your shadow all day long. Fill out an application. https://www.aychihuahuarescue.org/adopt/<br/>Let's find this girl her very own lap!<br/><br/><br/>**04/10/26 - From Foster:<br/>⚠️ Warning: Pocket-sized personality ahead.<br/><br/>This 6.6-lb Chihuahua is 10 years old and full of sass.<br/>She’s potty trained, crate trained, loves to be held, and will follow her person like a tiny shadow.<br/><br/>Her hobbies include:<br/>• Lap sitting<br/>• Being carried around like royalty<br/>• Devotion to her favorite human<br/><br/>All she’s missing is a lap to call her own. ❤️<br/><br/><br/>**04/07/26 - Spay Day - Bridget’s heart rate went down to 30 and she started turning purple so no surgery. She has a scar and small nipples so possibly already spayed. Our vet agrees she’s 10. Recovering well!!<br/><br/>**04/06/26 - Meet Bridget!<br/>This petite senior is 6.6 lbs and approx 10 years young. She comes to us after winding up at the Abilene shelter as an owner surrender. Not sure why she ended up there, but we are so happy she ended up with us ❤️. Her little chi weenie face reminds us of our sweet angel, Phyllis, and we are so glad we can help this little girl out with finding her forever home.<br/>Bridget has only been with us a few days, and is already a little shadow, and loves having her foster momma around. Whenever her foster mom comes back home, she gets so excited and wiggly to have her back to stalk and follow around.<br/>She loves to find a lap, or spot on the back of the sofa to curl into a little cinnamon roll and snooze the day away. Said to be 10 yrs but seems younger. 6.6 lbs
