This sweet Lab mix loves people, enjoys the company of other dogs, is cat-friendly, and does wonderfully with kids, making her a fantastic fit for many different types of families.<br/><br/>Bridget walks beautifully on leash and is nonreactive, making outings with her a pleasure. Whether youre strolling through the neighborhood, visiting a pet-friendly cafe, or spending time with friends, Bridget is the kind of dog who happily joins in. She thrives in social settings and charms everyone she meets with her friendly personality and calm, confident demeanor.<br/><br/>When its time to play, Bridgets favorite toys are tennis balls, and she absolutely loves a good game of fetch. After some fun and exercise, shes more than happy to relax and soak up attention from her favorite people.<br/><br/>If youre looking for a loyal, affectionate companion who can be your adventure buddy, family dog, and best friend all in one, Bridget may be the perfect match.<br/><br/>Come meet Bridget and see why everyone falls in love with her! <br/><br/>---<br/><br/>We do not adopt on a first-come-first-serve basis, but rather by the best match between dog and family, although we will factor in the order of applications if there are equally good matches.<br/><br/>Our adoption fee for adult dogs is $500 which covers the costs of vetting (spay, vaccinations, heartworm testing, preventatives while in our care, deworming and microchip) and any boarding or transport fees incurred in each dog's rescue. Senior dogs are $250.

We do not adopt on a first-come-first-serve basis, but rather by the best match between dog and family, although we will factor in the order of applications if there are equally good matches. Visitors at our shelter are by appointment only and are limited to those who have submitted applications. 1. Submit Application: https://www.lighthouseanimalshelter.org/application-instructions 2. Volunteers review your application. 3. After review, you will be contacted to set up an appointment. 4. Home Check: Some pets require a home visit. In some cases, a home visit is not required. It depends on factors such as fencing, children, & other pets. 5. Sign Adoption Contract: You will receive all medical paperwork, a new leash and collar, and food your new pet is used to eating.
