What is Pasadena Animal Shelter & Pet Adoption Center’s adoption process?

Adoptions are currently handled by appointment only. Please submit an application for the dogs or cats you want to meet, and we'll call you to schedule an appointment. We have not yet reopened kennel access. Currently, we are NOT open on the weekend; however, we stay open late one night per week (schedule rotates). It's $20 to adopt a dog and $5 to adopt a cat. This fee includes a set of vaccines, microchip, and spay or neuter. If you have questions about an animal, please email us at adoptions@pasadenatx.gov or call us at 731-920-7942.
