Brick's Story

**ITS MAMA Bs TURN TO SHINE!**

**North Central Florida**. Please email keystonepetvet@hotmail.com for an application or call us at 352-473-4966.

2 years old Spayed Vaccinated Microchipped

Please share our girl—somewhere out there is the family who has been waiting for **Brick.**

**Brick**—also known as *Bee, Pretty Bricky Ricky Ricky,* and, for reasons that probably don't need explaining, *The Baked Bean* —has watched **every single one of her babies find a family.**

Now it's finally **Mama B's turn.**

Brick is a petite little **Pocket American Bully** with a huge personality and an even bigger heart. She came into rescue while in labor and needed an emergency C-section to safely deliver her puppies. She raised her babies, watched them head off to their forever homes, and now this incredibly deserving girl is still patiently waiting for someone to choose **her.**

And whoever does is getting one heck of a dog.

Brick **LOVES people.** She's affectionate, loyal, silly, incredibly sweet, and absolutely wonderful with children. She's the kind of girl who wants to be part of the family—not just a dog who happens to live there.

**She is good with other dogs!**
Brick does beautifully with dogs of different sizes and both males and females. Her dream home would actually include a friendly, playful canine buddy (or two!) because she genuinely enjoys having dog friends (as long as they don't steal *her* ball).

**In Brick's mind, she's an elite athlete.**
Give this girl a ball or Frisbee and suddenly she's preparing for the canine Olympics. Her tiny bully legs and intolerance for the Florida heat may occasionally disagree with her sporting ambitions, but please don't tell Brick that. She LOVES to play and would be thrilled to have some kids tossing a ball or disc for her during the cooler parts of the day (just as long as people know when she needs to be cut off from play due to her being a bulldog and overheating).

**Farm life? She's been there, done that.**
She has done well around chickens, cattle, and goats.

**Cats are a maybe.**
Not because she's trying to be rude—Brick just has some very strong opinions that cats should run so she can chase them. A cat-free home will be the better choice for everyone more than likely unless you have a brave cat that doesn't mind her trying to play.

**She's kennel trained and well-mannered**, but she does take home security extremely seriously. Potential adopters should know that Brick has personally appointed herself head of household protection and will bravely defend her family from two particularly dangerous enemies:

**The vacuum cleaner and the ice maker.**

You're welcome.

Underneath all of the goofy nicknames, short legs, bully antics and big personality is an exceptionally **kind, loving little dog** who deserves to finally be someone's baby.

Brick is **spayed, vaccinated, microchipped and ready for her forever home.**

Her dream?

A home with a **friendly, playful dog or two, some kids or people who love to play with her, plenty of family time, and someone who will adore her for the rest of her life.**

And we want to be very clear: **Brick is safe. Brick is loved. Brick does not need to go anywhere.**

We are not looking for *a* home for her.

We are looking for **HER home.**

There is no rush, and we will be very selective. She has already been through enough in her short life, and the next place she lands should be the place she never has to leave again.

After raising her babies and watching every one of them get their happily-ever-after, **Mama B deserves hers too.**

If you've been looking for a compact little baked bean with a giant heart, a questionable opinion of household appliances, sporting ambitions that exceed the length of her legs, and enough love to fill an entire house...

**Brick might just be your girl.**

**North Central Florida**

**Please share Mama B. Her person may simply not have seen her yet.**

SPCA of North Florida's Adoption Policy
We have many cats and kittens available for adoption throughout the year. Our kittens are in foster homes during the week where they receive the love and attention they need to grow and thrive. All of our cats and kittens have been leukemia tested, vet checked, vaccinated, dewormed, treated for fleas with advantage, spayed or neutered and microchipped prior to adoption. They also receive any other necessary treatment while in our program such as treatment for ear mites, respiratory infections, etc. Our tax-deductible adoption fee is $100 to help cover a portion of the medical and care costs.
