He healed on his own inside a kennel. Because of how the bone healed, he has a slight limp, but he is not in pain. It is simply the way his body recovered.<br/><br/>After his recovery, Brick was at risk of euthanasia. An animal lover stepped in and pulled him from the shelter, but the municipality warned that if he was returned to his territory, he would be euthanized. With no other safe option, the volunteer placed him in a paid boarding shelter.<br/><br/>That was three years ago.<br/><br/>Brick has been living there ever since.<br/><br/>He is a sweet, calm boy who gets along well with everyone. He asks for very little and gives so much love in return. No dog deserves to spend their entire life waiting behind kennel doors. Brick may walk a little differently, but he is just as deserving of a home, a family, and a soft place to rest as any other dog.<br/><br/>He is simply a good boy, and he has waited long enough.
