Briar's Story
Meet Briar!

Life is a race, and Briar is determined to win it.

Whether she's sprinting across the yard, launching into a game of tug, chasing squeaky toys, or showing off her championship-caliber zoomies, Briar approaches every day with one speed: FULL SEND.

Briar is one of Daisy's ten puppies and has been raised in a loving foster home since the day she was born. She's growing into a confident, funny, affectionate little girl who lives life with her whole heart.

She's already crate trained and proudly knows what "crate" means because... snacks. She's working on "sit," but let's be honest, slowing down is not currently high on her priority list. She's also making great progress with potty training and will often potty outside when you ask her to.

Briar absolutely loves other dogs and spends most of her day wrestling with her brother or convincing her foster family's dog to play. Because she's still learning doggy manners and can get carried away with excitement, she'd do best with a playful, confident canine companion who can keep up with her and politely remind her when playtime is over.

Kids? They're basically her favorite people. If there's an eight-year-old nearby, Briar has probably already claimed them as her best friend.

While she's fearless at home, new places and lots of unfamiliar people can make her pause for a moment. Thankfully, her confidence grows quickly with a little reassurance, and before long she's back to bouncing around like she owns the place.

Briar's dream home is an active one filled with laughter, adventures, a playful dog buddy, and humans who are ready to embrace all the wonderful chaos that comes with raising a puppy. She'll need continued training, patience, and consistency, but she'll repay you every day with endless entertainment, unconditional love, and enough zoomies to power a small city.

If you're looking for a puppy who will make you laugh, keep you on your toes, and then curl up as close to you as physically possible once she's finally worn herself out, Briar is ready to race straight into your heart.

**All puppies are required to be adopted to a home with an adult dog**
DOB: 3/03/26
Apply at rescueapittie.org
