*** Briar's Story

This is a courtesy listing, not a SPOT Rescue dog. For more information regarding Briar, contact email below..

Briar is a stunning 1 year old sable German Shepherd. She is about 70lbs, is spayed, vaccinated, and microchipped. She has been professionally trained in basic obedience, is crate-trained, housetrained, heels perfectly on a leash and is good with other dogs (she's the whole package)! She is in a foster home with 4 resident dogs, and has her favorite playmate (a 40lb female pitbull puppy) although she would do fine in a home without dogs as well. As an only dog she would be more settled and calm day-to-day with no one to play with, but we would recommend continuous socialization with well-matched playmates to keep her dog-neutrality and friendliness.
Briar is your dog if ...you love working breed dogs like the loyal German Shepherd, but dread the awful puppy phases of teething, potty-training, crate-training, destruction, & leash-pulling. Our girl is past all that.

Briar is your dog if ...you want a young dog that has that puppy-like energy and enjoyability who you can spend many more years with, but also need a dog old enough to be able to stay home alone for a typical work day. She is currently home & crated while her fosters are at work 4 days a week, and does great.

Briar is your dog if ...you want a friendly dog but also want to feel safe and protected at home. Briar is a GSD through & through. She loves her people fiercely! She has barked before when strangers approach her, but warms up quickly.

Briar is your dog if ...you love goofy goobers. She never ceases to make us smile and laugh. She bounds around like a kitten and plays like her life depends on it. This is a complete 180 degree difference since getting rescued off the euthanasia list at the shelter 2 months ago. She was 25lbs underweight, stressed and shut down. She has completely bloomed into her true self and we are so excited to see her light up someone else's life!

Adoption fee $450 and please inquire send inquiries to: Carina at carinarox1356@gmail.com
