Briar's Story

Briar is a sweet little guy who has been doing wonderfully in foster care. He gets along well with other dogs, both male and female, and he is crate trained and potty trained. He enjoys running around in the backyard and also makes an excellent snuggle buddy who is happy to relax on the couch with his people.

Briar can be a little shy at first, but he warms up quickly once he feels safe and comfortable. In fact, it only takes a few days and, honestly, a slice of cheese helps. Offer him one and you will quickly become his favorite person.

A fenced yard would be ideal so Briar has space to run and play, but his happiest place will always be right next to his people.

Pitt Friends's Adoption Policy
Thank you for considering adopting from Pitt Friends! The first step in our adoption process is filling out our application, which you can find at pittfriends.com. If your application is approved, the foster family will reach out to you directly to arrange a meet and greet at a mutually agreeable time and place. We do not have a shelter facility. All of our animals live in foster care full time, in the homes of our volunteers. Our adoption fee is $200 and includes spay/neuter, microchip, vaccines, deworming, and any other medical care that is required prior to adoption. A home check and vet reference are required prior to adoption. Each dog has different needs, so if one particular dog is not the right fit for your home, we may be able to recommend another that is a better match!
