This stunning one-year-old red and white Australian Shepherd/Border Collie mix is impossible to forget, especially with his striking blue eye and soulful expression. But Brewster's greatest beauty isn't on the outside—it's the gentle, sensitive spirit that shines once he learns to trust you.<br/>Brewster's life has been full of change. After his elderly owner passed away, he was shuffled between family members before eventually landing in a crowded, noisy shelter. For a sweet, thoughtful dog, it was an overwhelming place to be. Thankfully, Herding Haven was able to bring him into rescue, where he's finally getting the chance to decompress and discover that the world can be kind again.<br/>Because of everything he's been through, Brewster takes a minute to warm up to new people. Give him a little patience, though, and you'll be rewarded with an incredibly devoted companion who wants nothing more than to be by your side. <br/>Brewster checks all the boxes, too! He's housebroken, crate trained, walks beautifully on a leash, and gets along well with both other dogs and cats. He would be happiest in a quieter home without small children, where his gentle nature can truly flourish. Brewster is neutered, fully vaccinated, microchipped, and ready to start the next chapter of his life.<br/>His past may have been uncertain, but his future doesn't have to be.
