Brewer's Story

Meet Brewer! He is a 4 year old, approximately 55lb Black Mouth Cur/Lab Mix (as far as we can tell). Brewer is a loyal lover who enjoys cuddles and long walks. He has a lot of energy and needs a big yard and owner(s) that can be as active as him. Unfortunately, with my long hours at work, I have been unable to provide him with the environment he needs to thrive. He has been with me since Jan 2025 and has really been a great companion. He is crate and house trained. He can escape his crate if not locked properly. He is also good with kids (have only seen him with kids 5 and over) and other dogs. He keeps to himself at the dog park, but plays well with others. He does struggle with bone & toy aggression with other dogs because they are a couple of his favorite things, but for the most part will drop it for his human friends. He currently spends evenings taking walks and then lounging on the couch after long days in his crate. If you can provide Brewer with the space to run, no more than 8 hours a day crated and lots of hugs and kisses, he will be your most loyal loving companion. If you would like to meet this dog, please call Teri at 630-897-7454. The adoption fee is $275.

Adoption fee includes:
- microchip
- spay/neuter
- age appropriate vaccinations: Bordetella, DH(L)PP, rabies
- heartworm preventive & flea/tick preventive
- deworming
