Meet Brennan!<br/><br/>Brennan is a young Border Collie pup who is equal parts sweet snuggler and high-energy daredevil! He loves being near his family and staying involved in whatever you're doing, and he will happily curl up for cuddles after a fun session of exploring, jumping, and chasing balls. With positive, consistent training and patience, this smart little superstar has incredible potential for agility or sports.<br/><br/>**Home Requirements & Socialization:**<br/><br/>#Experience & Environment: Prior Border Collie (or working breed) experience is required to ensure his high energy and smart mind are well-directed.<br/>#People & Kids: He can be a bit timid or fearful when new people jump right into his personal space, but he warms up quickly once given a moment. <br/>Brennan requires a home with children over 10 who can respect his boundaries while he builds confidence.<br/>#Ongoing Commitment: He will need adopters dedicated to ongoing, appropriate training and socialization to help him continue working through his shy moments and grow into a confident adult.<br/>#Dog Friends: Gets along wonderfully with his foster siblings. It takes him a couple of days to settle in with new canine friends, but once he does, he loves to play. He would thrive with a confident big dog brother or sister to show him the ropes!<br/><br/>**Training & Daily Routine:**<br/><br/>#Commands: Has a nice sit and recall.<br/>#Work in Progress: Currently practicing his leash manners and learning that "off" means no counter-surfing (and that garden plants aren't meant for taste testing!).<br/>#Crate & House Manners: Potty trained and sleeps soundly through the night in his crate.<br/><br/>**Health & Essentials:**<br/><br/>. Neutered<br/>. Up to date on all age-appropriate vaccinations<br/>.
