Adoption Update: This dog is currently on a temporary 2-week hold due to a sick puppy in the kennel area. Please check back in 2 weeks. 1 year 7 month old female Akita Young, smart, and full of potential! She is still working on leash manners and socialization, but she’s very intelligent and eager to learn—making her a great candidate for continued training. She loves attention, enjoys learning new things, and thrives with positive guidance. True to her breed, she adores the cold and snow and shows typical Akita traits: loyal, observant, and independent. With consistency, patience, and structure, she can grow into a wonderful lifelong companion. Previously lived with other dogs--may do well with another dog companion. 74 lbs. As always, if you have another dog in the home, plan to bring them for a meet before you complete the adoption. Adoption fees: 6m and younger $250, 7m-5y $200, 6y-10y $150, 11y and older $100.
