Braxton's Story

Meet Braxton! He is a little over a year old and is about 70lbs. He is a fun, energetic dog who loves the outdoors. He loves to play with toys (minus the ones with stuffing in them because the stuffing ends up just being a fun treat for him to eat). He is great at keeping himself occupied with a good chew bone or a good ball! He loves to go for walks and hikes and would do great with someone who loves to do those things regularly. While he has the energy for adventures, he loves a good nap on the couch and is a HUGE snuggle bug!!

Braxton is very smart and enjoys puzzle toys and sniffing activities to keep his mind sharp. He is a great boy and loves his people. He can be a bit shy at first and needs some time to warm up - but once you're in, you're in for life! He has completed basic training and knows how to sit, spin, lay down, and is kennel trained. He is boosting his leash walking skills and he is doing well. He loves training and would benefit from further training.

He enjoys playing with other dogs. He would do best in a home as an only dog as he can guard some of his things (treats, bones, and toys). Cat compatibility is unknown. He is kid friendly, but may do best with older kids due to his size and enthusiasm for life.
