Brawn

Brawn was somewhat skittish when we first brought him home, though much less so than Tom. But after months in our care, he has become completely comfortable with everyone at home and is now accepting of new people as well.<br/><br/>He would not do well as an only dog. When he is the only dog in the house, he is much more reserved, and it's difficult to get him to eat. He doesn't seem particularly bonded to Tom, as he acts no differently when Tom is not around. He would do best in a home with a confident dog, which makes him feel he has "permission" to let his personality flow.<br/><br/>He's quite dog-friendly. He loves meeting dogs we encounter while on walks. He absolutely loves dog parks where he can socialize with other dogs and take in all the smells.<br/>He has a strong prey drive and will try to chase squirrels, rabbits, outdoor cats, etc.<br/>Safe around kids of any age<br/>Successfully cat tested<br/>Fully house trained - no accidents<br/>Does not go onto furniture, even when invited.<br/>Okay to leave at home, uncrated/caged for several hours<br/>Very good/relaxed in the car for any length trip<br/>Not quite the escape artist that Tom is, but still a flight risk, especially when he hasn't been outside for a few hours<br/>Not a big barker - may bark a couple times (out of excitement) when you arrive at home
