It takes him a while to warm up to you, so he will need a very patient caretaker. He is not housebroken, is a picky eater, very energetic, sharp squirrel hunter and is getting much much more comfortable in his crate. He is very skittish so a no slip leach is a must. He is very territorial, so if he is to share a home with another dog, the dog needs to be very accepting. He barks, when he senses danger or if there is an unfamiliar scent in the house. He is very accepting of kids, my 8-year old is actually his favorite. He has been giving us kisses daily, at his own rate."
