Brawn's Story

Brawn has known more heartache in his five years than most dogs should ever have to face. But despite it all, this brave soul still believes in love.

A resilient and gentle Korean Jindo, Brawn made the long journey from Korea in hopes of finding a family who will finally give him the life he's always deserved. Behind his soulful eyes lies a story of survival, strength, and quiet hope. He may not come bounding up with puppy-like energy, but what he offers is even more special-a calm, steady presence, and a heart that's just waiting for someone to say, "You're safe. You're home."

True to his Jindo nature, Brawn is loyal, thoughtful, and deeply sensitive. He doesn't ask for much-just a warm spot to rest, a gentle hand to reassure him, and a chance to love and be loved in return.

If you have room in your life for a dog who's come a long way-both in miles and in heart-Brawn is waiting. And he's been waiting a long time.

From his foster: "We have been fostering Brawn for over a week and I just wanted to say that he is the sweetest most skittish boy. It takes him a while to warm up to you, so he will need a very patient caretaker. He is not housebroken, is a picky eater, very energetic, sharp squirrel hunter and is getting much much more comfortable in his crate. He is very skittish so a no slip leach is a must. He is very territorial, so if he is to share a home with another dog, the dog needs to be very accepting. He barks, when he senses danger or if there is an unfamiliar scent in the house. He is very accepting of kids, my 8-year old is actually his favorite. He has been giving us kisses daily, at his own rate."
