Bravo's Story

Please contact Rose (japchinrose@gmail.com) for more information about this pet.Bravo came from an overcrowded shelter in Oklahoma. He is around 35 lbs and 5 months old. The shelter had him listed as a border collie mix, but we also see pointer and maybe whippet. He is doing great in his foster home with housebreaking and sleeping all night in his crate. Bravo likes playing with the other dogs and cats in his foster home. He is learning to sit and other basic commands. He is willing to learn and very happy to also entertain himself with a chew toy. His foster mom says her favorite thing about him is that he is a cuddler! He loves to run and play, but then also snuggles on the couch when watching TV. He can be a little nervous meeting new people, but he gets over it pretty quickly. We haven't tested him with kids yet, but we think he would be a good companion for an older child (he is a puppy, so still wants to jump up).
To help pay for vet bills and care (transportation, food, toys, etc), a $350 donation is requested at the time of adoption. All of our adoptions are contingent upon an approved application, a home visit, a reference check, an obedience training agreement, and the signing of the adoption contract. All our dogs are spayed/neutered, vaccinated, and microchipped before adoption. Our dogs are family members who live indoors. Please do not apply if you plan to have them as outside dogs, garage dogs, porch dogs, or outside kennel dogs. We do not ship dogs.
All of our dogs are in private foster homes. We are not a shelter with hours. A visit can be arranged after an adoption questionnaire has been filled out and sent in. Please try to email first. We are all volunteers that work so we can not easily take or make phone calls.
