Meet Branston, professional snugglebug, amateur lumberjack and owner of approximately 87% of the world's remaining soulful puppy eyes. Branston is a mixed-breed puppy estimated to have been born around 6/16/26. He and his littermates were rescued from a storage-unit property where nearly 40 dogs were living in a makeshift homeless encampment. Today, he's discovering just how GOOD puppy life can be. At approximately 11.5 pounds, Branston is affectionate, intelligent, playful and gentle. He loves other dogs, belly rubs, food puzzles, playing chase and hide-and-seek, lounging outside in the sunshine and collecting every stick the yard has to offer. He's crate trained, sleeps through the night, uses a dog door and is approximately 95–98% potty trained in his current foster home. He already knows sit, lie down and come when treats are involved and is currently working on roll over, fetch and learning that human fingers and toes are not actually chew toys. When the fun is over, Branston turns straight back into a cuddlebug. He loves laps, snuggling with his brother and falling asleep touching his humans or lying across their feet. Branston has done well with adults, dogs and children ages 11 and 15. His experience with very young children and cats is unknown.
