A Sato is a Puerto Rican street dog, and Brandon has all the wonderful qualities people fall in love with once they meet one: loyal, affectionate, smart, and deeply connected to his people.<br/><br/>Brandon is the kind of dog who just wants to be wherever you are. He will happily follow you from room to room, curl up next to you on the couch, join you on adventures, or simply soak up all the pets and cuddles he can get. Despite his size, he truly believes he is a lap dog and absolutely thrives on human affection.<br/><br/>Everyone who has spent time with Brandon describes him as an angel. He is incredibly responsive to people and pays close attention to tone and direction. He loves praise, gets excited when you talk to him, and responds very well to gentle correction. He is eager to please and clearly wants to connect with his humans.<br/><br/>Brandon has wonderful house manners. He sleeps quietly through the night in his crate without barking or whining and settles beautifully once inside. He is doing well with potty training and has had very few accidents in foster care. He also walks nicely on a leash and enjoys taking in all the smells around him like the curious “Dalmatian hound” his foster jokingly calls him.<br/><br/>Brandon does well with other dogs when given slow introductions and has been described as gentle and respectful around them. He is not overly high energy, but he still has plenty of life and happiness in him. He would love a home where he can be included in daily life, get lots of love, and finally have the stability and forever family he deserves.<br/><br/>Brandon is being fostered in Annapolis, MD.<br/><br/>PLEASE READ:<br/><br/>Any dog that is house or potty trained will still need patience in a new home with new people and a new schedule.
