Branch's Story
Meet Branch! If the doggie Olympics existed, Branch would for sure be a gold medalist in several events.
He excels in jumping , running, and climbing!
At his latest news conference, he was adamant that cuddling be added as an event as he prefers that to all the events he has excelled at. His ideal home would be where he could be supported to continue to train for the doggie Olympics; whereby he could have a yard for endless track and field events. He loves other dogs so he welcomes competitors to his events.
Branch’s current stats are as follows: 40lbs., 10 months old, and is a mixed breed. His record indicated that he is microchipped, neutered, and up to date on vaccinations and preventatives and is heartworm negative. His coach says he will not be joining a bigger weight class as he is now in top shape and no longer growing.
When he is not competing, like any quality athelete, he requires pampering in the form of crate resting with frozen Kongs or long lasting bones to help him decompress fron all that exercise as well as massage sessions whereby you cuddle and rub every inch of his body in order to loosen up all those muscles from a hard days work.
He is still a puppy and very much requires a companion who will take over his training and leadership to guide him towards winning additional gold medals in house training and fine tuning his manners. Which for the right person should be a piece of cake as he is very food motivated and eager to compete.
He is not 100% house trained yet, but is headed in the right direction. He does well when provided the opportunity to potty outside frequently on leash. He will need a family that will be patient and put forth the time and effort he deserves in order to be the best athlete he can be.

He is presently being fostered in Brevard, NC. We require veterinary reference checks. We respond to all adoption inquiries so please be sure to check your junk/spam folder if you email us through PetFinder that you are interested as our response often goes to junk/spam. Will you consider him to be your newest family member?
