Bowie's Story

Bowie is a very chill boy who is going to make an amazing companion in a loving home. Bowie came to us with transportation assistance from a New Mexico shelter after he, as a stray, had taken up lodging briefly with a college student and 3 Chihuahuas. (The young man reached out, feeling that Bowie would benefit from more personal attention.) During the time of being at this home, it seems that Bowie was house trained to a doggy door. Bowie is good with all people and some other dogs — including small ones. He knows basic commands and is so eager to please. Bowie is believed to be born around 2018, is around 50 pounds and has a deep bond with his kennel mate Tommie (i.e. We would love to see them adopted together, if that is possible)! Bowie is very playful but has a very unique loud scream when excited. He loves walks and to play ball in the yard. He would thrive in a more rural situation where he can run and play.
