Bowen Is Cute, He Knows It, and He’s Ready to Be Adopted <br/><br/>Meet Bowen, a 7-month-old Pittie mix weighing 43 pounds of sweetness, puppy silliness, and a whole lot of potential. <br/><br/>Bowen is the kind of pup who may take a little time to warm up, but once he feels comfortable, you’ll see what a fun and loving boy he really is. He’s a little shy, which is why we think having another dog in his forever home would be wonderful for him. Bowen absolutely loves canine friends and would thrive with a confident dog to show him the ropes.<br/><br/>For a puppy, Bowen has some pretty impressive manners! He is house trained, crate trained, and dog-door trained, and he’s working hard on his leash skills. He’s playful without being wild and has a really nice ability to settle down and relax when the excitement is over.<br/><br/>Bowen also does a great job adapting to his surroundings. He isn’t the type of puppy who has to be in the middle of everything—he can hang out, observe, and adjust to whatever is going on around him.<br/><br/>Of course, he’s still a puppy, so occasionally he thinks something looks like a great chew toy. Thankfully, he responds well to redirection, especially when a Benebone is offered as a much better option!<br/><br/>Because Bowen is still learning puppy boundaries, older children would be the best fit for him.
