Bow Diddley's Story

💔 Meet Bow Diddley 💔
Bow Diddley is a 4-year-old cream-colored Standard Poodle who recently came into our rescue. This sweet boy has clearly had a rough time lately and arrived needing quite a bit of TLC, but despite everything, he remains incredibly loving, gentle, and trusting.
When he came to us, he was very thin, heavily matted, and suffering from significant infections in both his eyes and ears. His ears are so painful and infected that the vet will need to sedate him to properly clean and treat them, but they would like him to gain a little weight and strength first before undergoing the procedure.
Bow Diddley is also heartworm positive. We will be treating him using our slow-kill method with doxycycline and Advantage Multi, which will be provided to his adopter.
Even with all he’s been through, Bow Diddley is still such a sweetheart. ❤️ He gets along well with other dogs and has a soft, kind spirit that makes everyone fall in love with him.
We are posting him now to begin accepting applications from families interested in giving this deserving boy the forever home he truly deserves while he continues on his road to recovery.
Big shout out to Kristie and Ray for fostering him through this recovery. Kristie even groomed him in several short sessions to make it easier on him to get all the matted dirty hair off of him. He was too weak to stand as long as a groomer would have needed to do it all in one session.
To request an adoption application and a copy of our adoption process, please email us at creolepoodlerescue@yahoo.com and we will send everything back to you.
Requirements to adopt Bow Diddley:
🐩 Above-ground fenced yard required
🐩 Good veterinary reference from previous and/or current pets required
Please share for Bow Diddley and help us find the perfect forever family for this resilient sweetheart.
