Boswell's Story

Boswell – Boxer/Labrador mix – 3yrs. – male (86 lbs.)

This handsome boy has been through a lot in his short lifetime. Boswell started out as a little puppy belonging to a homeless man living on the streets. At six months old, an elderly gentleman traded him for a sandwich and took him home with him. While that man loved him, his home was basically a shack with no air conditioning. Boswell lived inside the “shed” with that man, a small dog, and five cats. Then a very nice woman, who helps people with their pets by bringing food and paying for medical care, met Boswell and fell in love. She knew that his owner loved him, but also knew he deserved a better life. She reached out to us and we had to help. Boswell is with us now and, although he’s been a little depressed and unsure of what’s going on, every day he becomes more and more comfortable. He’s now inside where he has heat and air conditioning, healthy food, and is getting a lot of attention. We can tell from his soft eyes and slow wagging tail that he’s grateful. Boswell is crazy sweet, easy-going, and loves attention. He thinks the baby pool was made for him. Boswell is great on a leash and loves the adventure of a long walk. He was in a home for a few months, but did not do well with the other dog that was about 40 pounds. He has only been around small dogs and cats and is not comfortable with bigger dogs. This gentle boy is looking for a person or family that will show him “the good life” and make him part of their family. Boswell will be forever grateful and give you all his love – if you think you can handle all that love, please fill out an application to meet our sweet boy.

https://form.jotform.com/91891552799173
