Boss's Story

Meet Boss!

This handome 1 year old Red Heeler mix is full of life, personality, and just the right amount of chaos to keep things fun! Boss came to us as a stray after being abandoned by his previous owner. He spent a few days on the run before our animal control team, along with some kind-hearted Good Samaritans, were finally able to bring him to safety—and now he’s ready to start his next chapter with a forever family.

Boss is a rowdy, energetic goofball who absolutely lives to play. Toys are his love language, and he’s always ready for a game of fetch, tug, or anything that keeps him moving and engaged. While he can be a little shy when meeting new people, he warms up quickly and before you know it, you’ve got a loyal, fun-loving sidekick eager to join you on every adventure.

As a true working dog at heart, Boss has that classic Cattle Dog drive. He’s smart, active, and thrives when he has a job to do—whether that’s learning new tricks, exploring the outdoors, or engaging in interactive play. Because of this, he would do best with an adopter who understands herding breeds and can provide plenty of physical exercise, mental stimulation, and structure.

Boss is looking for a home that can match his energy, appreciate his goofy charm, and help guide him into the amazing dog he’s meant to be. If you’re ready for a playful, spirited companion who will keep you on your toes (and laughing along the way), Boss might just be your perfect match!
