Bosco's Story
Bosco came to us with a kitten after his owner went to hospice. Bosco is a younger boy who is also very very sweet. He is a people pleaser, and loves everyone he meets. Bosco is very excitable when meeting other dogs and often forgets any manners he knows, and also says goodbye to boundaries. While we believe he would do well with other dogs when given the time to settle down in a calm environment, he does not do well meeting dogs here at the shelter when he is so worked up. For this reason, we would like to adopt him out to a home as the only dog. Additionally, even though he came in with a kitten, he was adopted into a home in which he was WAY too laser focused on the cat and was shortly returned. He did great with the small child in the home. He wants to have animals friends, and hopefully with a diligent and committed adopter, he can live with other animals in the future in a calmer environment.

Bosco has a ton of energy and loves to run and play, so he would do best in an active home. He is a good boy, and we think he will adjust to a variety of environments once he is out of the shelter. He does need to brush up on his manners when excited, but would do fine with small children who are used to being around larger dogs. Bosco hopes to find a loving family soon!
