Bosco's Story

My name is Boscoe and I am a 66-pound, 4-year-old, white Boxer. I am recently neutered, current on my shots, and I’m being fostered in Everett, WA.

I operate under the firm belief that I am a teacup poodle who can fit in your lap. As you can see, I am stunningly handsome - just look at me! My sole purpose in life is to wiggle my little nub tail, invade your personal space on the couch, chase tennis balls in the yard, and have snacks.

I know how to sit, lay down and shake, and I will proudly show you these if I get a cookie. I currently live with two other pups, and they are my best friends. We play together, eat our meals together, go on walks together, and snuggle together. So, I believe that I need to be in a forever home that has other furry friends for me to hang out with.

If I am kenneled, I get stressed out and bark and pant a lot, so my foster mom is working with me to help me learn that it is a safe place to be while she is not home. Ideally, I would like to live in a home where all the furry friends have free roam of the house and just sleep on the couch when their people are gone.

I love car rides! Especially if you are taking me to McDonald's for a cheeseburger or a vanilla ice cream cone. I love those! I'm learning how to walk on a leash, although I do need a little more help with that because I love to go fast and then end up pulling my foster mom along, so we are working on slowing me down.

At night, I sleep with my furry pup siblings on the bed with my foster mom, and I will snuggle all night long without needing a potty break. I’ve not had any accidents at night by the way!

I have never been around cats, so I don't know if I like them or not. I enjoy being around kids of all ages and I'm really good with them. Kids always drop crumbs and I am happy to help clean those up!

I am a really good pup who has a lot of love to give, and I promise to make your face and your heart smile every day! So, if you are looking for endless affection and a loyal best friend for life, I'm your guy!!! Apply today – www.mustluvboxersrescue.com/adopt.

MustLuvBoxers Rescue's Adoption Policy
Locations we serve: We are currently accepting applications from residents in Washington, Oregon and Northern Idaho (close to the WA border), and some areas of Canada. While we serve the majority of these areas, in some cases we cannot find a volunteer to home check certain areas of these states. For that reason, your application may be denied. Same Sex Dogs in a Household: Our rescue does not adopt dogs out to households that already have a dog of the same sex. This is due to increased aggression and dominance issues among same sex dogs. This also applies to dogs who are frequent visitors in your home. In some cases, we allow dogs with a 9+ year age difference to be placed in the same home. Application Types: Below you will be asked to select what type of application you would like to submit. Adoption Application: you are interested in adopting a rescue dog who is in foster care. Foster-to-Adopt Application: you are interested in fostering a dog for a three week period with the intention to adopt. If you decide the dog is not a good fit, you will continue fostering until the dog is adopted out through the standard adoption process. This process requires you to be on Facebook to interact with our support group after your application is processed. Foster Application: you are interested in providing a safe, structured and loving home for a rescue dog until they find their forever home through the adoption process. All supplies and medical expenses will be covered. This process requires you to be on Facebook to interact with our support group after your application is processed. What to Expect When Fostering or Fostering-to-Adopt: There is no perfect dog when fostering. Each dog that comes into foster care has their own unique personalities, many that just need love and care to work through undesirable behaviors. Most of these dogs have never had a safe, secure or loving home like you will be providing them. We will never ask a foster to take a human-aggressive or a dog with extreme behavioral issues. Those dogs go to our seasoned fosters or trainers. Every dog that comes into MLBR will have different quirks or issues; whether it be needing a single dog home, medical, crate and potty training, working through their fears, crate rotation, etc. Crate training a dog is not a punishment. Utilizing a crate in the home creates a safe space for the dog to decompress. Each dog will have different comfort levels, and not all are going to be social, which is okay; it doesn’t mean they’re not adoptable.
