Meet Borscht!<br/><br/>Borscht is a female, border collie/poodle mix and born December 2025! Her and her littermates were an accidental litter, kept inside until weened, then were surrendered to a local animal shelter and now, in loving foster homes with B&B! She’s a curious, sweet, little spitfire who greets the world tail-first and full speed ahead! She is independent, fearless, and always ready for her next backyard expedition. She treats every blade of grass like a discovery worth celebrating (and rolling in), but when the adventures are over, she transforms into a warm, sleepy cuddle bug who just wants to melt into your arms. Basically: tiny body, huge personality, and a heart full of spark. She is working on her potty/crate training and doing well. <br/><br/>She is being fostered in Richmond, VA and is up to date on vaccinations and monthly preventatives. Her adoption fee is $375 and covers the cost of age-appropriate vaccinations, microchip, and her spay when age-appropriate. She will require an owner committed to continued training and socialization. We require a completed adoption application to move forward with adoption.<br/><br/>Beagles and Bentleys has an across-the-board evaluative process that we apply to every application we review that prioritizes our animals in need. We conduct a vet reference check (all resident dogs must be altered/up to date on dhpp/rabies and monthly preventatives) and a virtual home visit call where we discuss the adoption process and see your home.
