Look no further Bordeaux may be the perfect match for you.<br/><br/>We rescued Bordeaux from a local animal shelter after she was at risk of euthanasia due to injuries sustained when she was hit by a car. She arrived with a suspected pelvic fracture and a non-displaced mandibular (jaw) fracture. With proper medical care, pain medication, and plenty of rest, she recovered well and was eventually able to be spayed.<br/><br/>At one point, we believed her previous owner would come for her after contacting animal control, but sadly, they never did. Now Bordeaux is ready to leave her past behind and find the loving forever family she deserves.<br/><br/>Bordeaux is a gentle, affectionate girl who may be a little shy at first, but she warms up quickly and forms strong bonds with the people she loves. She is looking for a family that will cherish her through every stage of life and be there for her when she needs them most.<br/><br/>Because we don't know much about her previous home life, we can't say whether she was allowed on furniture or fully house-trained. We hope to find a patient and understanding family that will give her the time and guidance she needs as she settles into her new home.<br/><br/>She gets along well with other dogs, although rough play should be avoided while she continues to heal. Due to her gentle nature and recovery needs, we recommend a home with children ages 8 and older rather than young toddlers.<br/><br/>Bordeaux is truly a wonderful dog with so much love to give.
