Boots's Story

Meet Boots!

Boots is a 2-year-old mixed breed with a big personality and an even bigger heart. He and his two senior sisters were abandoned by their owner, who was later arrested and charged in connection with abandoning them. Despite being let down by the person who was supposed to care for him, Boots hasn't let it dampen his loving spirit.

This sweet boy's favorite thing in the world is being close to his people. He loves to lay his big head in your lap, lean into you for pets, and snuggle whenever he gets the chance. If you're looking for a dog who will happily be your shadow and best friend, Boots is your guy.

Boots is currently in training and doing fantastic. He's eager to learn and loves the attention that comes with working alongside his people. He is great with children and absolutely loves meeting new people.

Because Boots has a strong prey drive, he should not be placed in a home with cats or other small animals. He is also a little unsure around other dogs right now, so we feel he would do best as the only pet while he continues building confidence through training and positive experiences.

A fenced yard is preferred so this playful, goofy boy has plenty of space to run, play, and enjoy life.

Boots has been through a lot, but he hasn't stopped believing in people. Now all he needs is a family willing to give him the love and security he deserves. If you want a loyal, affectionate companion who will shower you with love every day, Boots is waiting to meet you.
