Boone 's Story
Meet Boone — a nine-week-old Jack Russell / Chihuahua mix with a big personality packed into a tiny body.

Boone came to us from California’s Central Valley as part of a hoarding situation. His mama is the absolute sweetest soul and did an incredible job raising her babies — and Boone, the runt of the litter, has been thriving under her care. He’s growing beautifully and currently weighs about 3.5 pounds.

Based on mom’s size (around 14 pounds) and what we suspect about dad, Boone will likely be a small adult, around 12 pounds when fully grown.

Boone is still very much a baby — which means no formal training yet, lots of curiosity, and a playful, silly puppy brain. He’s adorably funny, energetic, and full of life, and he’s looking for a family who understands that puppies require time, patience, structure, and commitment.

His ideal home would include:
• Another friendly dog to learn from
• A home with a yard (no apartments)
• Humans excited about training, socialization, and exercise
• A lifelong commitment to his physical and emotional needs

Boone is the kind of puppy who will grow into an incredible companion for the right family — one that’s ready to invest in his future and enjoy all the joy, laughter, and love that comes with raising a pup.

If you’re ready for a tiny dog with a huge heart and an even bigger personality, Boone might be your perfect match.

[Apply Now](http://form.jotform.com/underdogca/dog-adoption-application)
For application forwarding requests or any specific inquiries, you can contact us at adopt@underdogca.com.
