I'm Boone, don't tell the other dogs, but I've heard whispers that I might be a staff "favorite". I'm pretty sure that's a good thing. I am 100% big energy. I am more than ready to settle into a home where I can be your goofy, devoted companion. I've had a tough start, but I'm a loving homebody who thrives with patient people who understand me - I do best in a calm environment where I can be the center of your world, no other pets needed when you've got me around!<br/><br/>For such a big guy, I can be very fearful. I would like a home where I can be safe from all the scary things in the world like loud noises, big trucks, and crowds of people. I like to say that I am a "stay at home dog." I have anxiety (don't we all!) and will need an experienced owner to help me understand that I am safe. I can be a lot to handle at times but I promise it's worth it. <br/><br/>I've been in a home before and it didn't work out the way I had hoped, if you are willing to take me on, it's gotta be forever. If you're looking for a loyal friend who'll shower you with affection, I'd love to meet you!
