Boone's Story
****GRADUATE OF THE COFFEEWOOD CANINE TRAINING PROGRAM!!!!!

***HAS BEEN TREATED FOR ANAPLASMOSIS

Boone, a handsome 2.5-year-old Husky, was found as a stray in a field with his friend, Hudson. After being brought to our shelter, we quickly fell in love with this gentle and happy boy.

At 60ish lbs, Boone is an active and energetic dog who loves to play and explore. He is looking for a family who understands the dynamics of being a Husky parent and can provide him with the exercise and mental stimulation he needs. As he settles into his new home, patience and understanding will be key as he learns the potty routine.

Boone is an affectionate and intelligent dog who enjoys spending time with his people. He may have some independent streaks, but he will always be your loyal best friend. He is also a master at being clever and curious, always keeping his owners entertained.

Boone has done well with most dogs he has met, but a meet and greet is required to ensure a good match. He would do best with a companion animal to keep him company and show him the ropes. Patience and love is what this boy will need as he decompresses and learns the household routines like the potty schedule!

Boone has been neutered, microchipped, heartworm tested, dewormed, and brought current on all his vaccinations. He’s also on monthly flea, tick, and heartworm preventatives.

To Apply for Adoption/Foster please copy and paste the following link:
https://orangecountyva.gov/158/Animal-Shelter
