Hello, world! I'm Boone, a baby cattle dog (heeler) mix born in mid-July of this year. My foster mom describes me as SUPER sweet and loving. I'm eager to please and bond with my human friends! I haven't met a cat yet, but I get along great with the other dog in my foster home. My favorite activities are chewing on puppy-safe chew sticks and kong toys. I'm very affectionate, too, and I love to snuggle. Like all young cattle dogs, I also have lots of energy for play. <br/><br/>I'm super smart, a quick learner, and very responsive to training! I already know "sit" and am making great progress with leash walks and house-training. I will thrive in a home that will show patience with my puppy energy as I grow into the good boy I know I can be. I am fully vetted and ready for my furever family!
