Boone's Story
Let's talk about Boone (#2). ..9 years old

He is as handsome as they come. And the best boy ever as we talked about in his first post.

Now let's talk about the elephant in the room. When I first met Boone a couple of years ago at Animal Control he had 2 cherry eyes. Since then they have resolved, not because of anything that his adopter has done. Had they been taken care of properly, Boone would not be in the predicament he is in now. Chronic dry eye or KCS (Keratoconjunctivitis Sicca) with pigmentary keratitis.

What does all that mean?????? For the rest of Boones life, he needs someone dedicated enough to him to put eye meds in his eye and eye drops. His eyes do not make their own lubrication or tears. This is a must, no forgets.

Also, Boone has some anxiety. His perfect home would be someone home all the time. Since I have known Boone he has been failed 4 times, and not because of Boone. Four times is too many. He needs forever and forever looks like someone who stays home all of the time.

He is house trained. Good with cats, kids and dogs. Perfect car rider. And good on a leash.

He is 25.8 pounds of perfect.

https://new.shelterluv.com/matchme/adopt/FAR/Dog
