Boone's Story

Boone is one year old and came into our rescue at 40 lbs. He now weighs 51 pounds. His owners surrendered him because they said they could no longer afford to feed him and they needed him to go that day. So, we met them and picked up. He was very underweight. Since we have had him he has put on 8 lbs. We feel he will be around 55 - 60 lbs. Boone is a very sweet boy. Gets along great will all dogs, large and small. The family had children and he was very good with them. He does need some basic training. He loves to be outside playing with the other dogs or by himself. When he comes in the house he goes right to the bedroom where his crate is. He eats in his crate. He has never shown any signs of aggression. He will be getting neutered on Feburary 20, 2026. He is a smart boy and will do well in training. We feel Boone will make a great companion, especially for a family that likes to be outdoors and active.
