Boomerang "Boomer"

Boomerang is a very playful and energetic pup. He loves being outside and never met a stick he didn't like. He enjoys fetch but sometimes doesn't want to let the stick go! He is working on his commands (he knows "sit" and has almost mastered "shake/paw"). He is very smart and picks up on things quickly. He is currently enrolled in puppy obedience training and will continue to work on his manners. He walks very well on a leash and will go for miles if you want. He knows his name and will come when he is called. He loves other dogs and plays well with everyone he has met. He goes to doggy day care several times a week. He'll never turn down a game of tug. He loves the Adirondacks and hiking. He will be a great companion to someone who is outdoorsy or has a lot of land. He has shown he can do well off-leash especially if he is with another dog. He loves attention and will be very loyal to whomever adopts him. He loves company and prefers that to being alone. After a long day he loves a good nap and will curl up right by your side. He's had baths at home with no problems and does well at the groomer. He rides well in a car especially if he can be your copilot in the front seat. Considering Boomer's breed is mostly border collie he does prefer to have his one on one attention with his "person". Boomer would succeed in a home without young children.
