Boomer's Story

My name is Boomer, and let me tell you, life is pretty grand! I'm a handsome black lab, a solid 89 pounds of pure joy.

My humans tell me I've grown into a much more confident and leaner doggy, and I'm pretty proud of that. It's been a journey, but hey, who doesn't love a good game of fetch to help with that? My absolute favorite thing in the world is people. Especially the little humans next door, they're 5 and 12 years old. They're the best at throwing my favorite squeaky ball in the backyard. A good throwing arm will be required in my new home because fetch is the best!

Bath time used to be... well, lets just say I wasn't a huge fan. Especially if the water was too cold. But now? Oh boy, give me that warm water! I can even tolerate the shampoo. It's a big improvement, if I do say so myself.

I'm still working on not getting too excited when I meet new friends, humans or furry ones. My nickname is Bigg Wiggles for a reason, after all! But I'm getting better. I love going out and seeing the world. If you're up for lots of love, enthusiastic greetings (which I'm working on being a *little* more chill about), and endless games of fetch, then I think well get along just fine!

If you are interested in adopting, please go to our website at www.lolin.org and click on Adopt, Apply for a Dog. From there, you can submit an Adoption Application to be considered for this dog. You MUST be an approved applicant to meet LOLIN dogs. There is no central location or hours to meet dogs.
