He is approximately 3 years old and weighs 15.6 lbs. Boomer will require regular grooming.<br/><br/>Boomer was abandoned or dumped in a newly built housing development. He was being fed by a nice family but he would not let them get too close. They called YVPR for help, so we set a trap & got him! Boomer was very much in need of a good bath and grooming. He has warmed up quickly and has adapted to the good life!!<br/><br/>Boomer is a quiet boy. He is very happy sitting with his person getting petted. He also enjoys the occasional play times. He does well with kids. <br/>Boomer does well with other dogs. He loves to play with the small dogs in his foster home. We have not see him with cats.<br/><br/>Boomer is 99% house trained. Because he was not neutered until a week ago & there are male dogs in his foster home, he will mark on occasion.<br/><br/>Boomer likes treats, rides nicely in the car and enjoys walks.<br/><br/>Boomer does have a grade 1 heart murmur. It does not require any medication and has not caused any issues.<br/><br/>Adoption fee is $250<br/><br/><br/>An application must be filled out and accepted before a meet can be set up. If accepted, you will hear from us within 72 hours. You will have the opportunity to ask questions before you meet the pet; an adoption may or may not happen at that time. <br/>We do adopt outside the Yakima area IF you are able to come to Yakima to pick up your adopted pet. We do not have a kennel facility; all of our pets are in foster homes. Therefore, meets and adoptions take place at either our office or at a place chosen by the adoption coordinator.<br/>If a pet has 'Adoption Pending' beside its name, an adoption is imminent. Please fill out an application anyway because adoptions don't always go through.<br/>Your application will be kept on file for 30 days in case you find another pet you'd like to apply for.<br/>Thanks for thinking adoption and Good Luck!
