Boomer's Story
Meet Boomer!He is a 3 year old, sweet boy that came from an Amish puppy mill. His whole life had been stuck in a kennel used only for breeding. He is ready to find his happily ever after!

Boomer has done really well in his foster home! But he will need a patient adopter who understands he is still figuring things out and new places can be scary. He loves other dogs, is good with cats, and is learning to love human interaction. He really wants to trust and be loved! And after the life he has had, he deserves it so much.

Boomer would do best in a home without small children. The fast movements and noise are a little overwhelming for him.

Since being in our care we have learned that Boomer does have seizures. At this time the vet has not started him on medication. They have been sporadic. His exam and bloodwork all looked good. So we have held off on daily meds until it becomes more of an issue. This is something that an adopter will have to monitor closely. (We will also start medication while in our care should it progress to that point!)

Boomer is doing well with housetraining, crate training and socialization. He will need work on a leash so we will require his forever home have a physically fenced in yard for him to safely explore. He is neutered, microchipped, up to date on vaccines and HW negative.

If interested in adopting Boomer please visit our website and complete an adoption application: Adoptables — Purebred Rescue Organization of Ohio

His adoption fee is $350
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
We appreciate your support, in order to help us continue to rescue dogs!
