Boom - adopted!

Boom is a 7-year-old, 48# Border Collie with a heart full of love. He’s affectionate, playful, and always ready to brighten your day with his happy smile. He's eager to please his people, whether that means cuddling on the couch, being out and about to see new things, or just being a 4-legged best friend.<br/><br/>Boom's favorite things:<br/><br/>-Getting love and affirmation from his people<br/>-Exploring the world on daily walks<br/>-Relaxing in his crate (his safe space!)<br/><br/>Boom is new to living inside a house. He tries hard to be brave and make his family proud. He's looking for a patient, gentle family to help him develop into his true self. He didn't get to go places and see new things in his prior life, and he's eager to make up for lost time. <br/><br/>If Boom had a theme song, it would be “Come Fly With Me” by Frank Sinatra. He’s ready to start a whole new life! Boom will thrive in a moderately active home that understands herding breeds. When he wants attention, he may nip at clothing -his family will need to redirect this behavior. Nature walks through the woods are helping him learn about walking on leash. He can live with older kids (youngsters are too busy for him). He doesn’t need a canine sibling, but he’d be fine sharing space with another friendly dog. He is successfully living with kitties in his foster home. <br/><br/>Each day, Boom gets closer to the dog that lives in his beautiful, courageous and loving heart. He can't wait to be someone's loyal, affectionate companion!<br/><br/>Boom is being fostered in Clear Lake, MN (near St. Cloud).<br/><br/>As a foster-based rescue, we do not have a central facility to visit. Meet and greets with specific dogs are arranged once your adoption application (not an inquiry through Petfinder) has been received, processed, and approved. We are located in Minnesota and adopt to an area 400 miles from Minneapolis/St. Paul.<br/><br/>Boom's adoption fee is $450 + MN sales tax. He is neutered, microchipped, and up to date on age-appropriate vaccines. Upon adoption, all of our dogs go to their new homes with a collar and harness, leash, starter food, blanket, favorite toys & treats. They are current on flea/tick and heartworm prevention.
