This 47-pound brown-and-white pup is full of life, greeting each day (and every new friend) with bright eyes, a wagging tail, and an eagerness to jump right into the next adventure.<br/>Bookmark is the kind of dog who keeps things exciting. He loves toys, playtime, and staying busy, and he’d thrive in a home that’s ready to match his energy and enthusiasm. Whether it’s learning new tricks, playing games, or just exploring the world around him, Bookmark is always ready to turn the page to something fun.<br/>Like any young star in the making, Bookmark is still working on his manners—especially when it comes to sharing and trading toys. With a little guidance, consistency, and positive training, he’s sure to grow into a well-mannered and wonderful companion.<br/>When meeting other dogs, Bookmark has shown himself to be friendly and exuberant, bringing lots of playful energy to the interaction. He’d love to meet any future canine siblings to make sure it’s the perfect match.<br/>Bookmark’s story is just beginning, and he’s looking for a family to write the next chapter with him—full of play, learning, and plenty of love along the way.<br/><br/>This pet is eligible for an Adoption Audition! What is an Adoption Audition? It’s a 5 day, no-strings-attached, trial adoption period. You can take this pet home to try it out! Interested? Come to the shelter any time during open hours and talk to one of our Customer Care staff. <br/><br/>Be sure to check the "shelter information" box on the listing to see if the pet is located at our Michael R. Frey Campus (4500 West Ox Road, Fairfax) or our Lorton Campus (8875 Lorton Road, Lorton). Then, come in during our open hours!
