Bookah (26-151)'s Story

Meet Bookah

Very attractive and athletic, sable-colored Bookah has recently been returned to the rescue at no fault of her own and is once again waiting for the right home. She has previously completed our prison program and is now back with us, ready for her next chapter.

Bookah is best suited for a single-pet home, as she prefers to have her space and operate on her own terms. She is a more driven, independent dog who tends to live on her own plane of existence, but for the right person, that makes her all the more unique and rewarding.

She absolutely loves toys and can happily keep herself entertained, making her a great match for someone who appreciates a dog with both energy and independence. Beneath her hard-driving exterior, Bookah has a softer side that shines through once she feels comfortable.

We believe that in a stable home environment with routine and consistency, Bookah will truly settle in and thrive. She's looking for someone who understands her nature and will appreciate her for exactly who she is.
