Boo Radley's Story
Name: Boo Radley
Breed: Black Lab / Boxer Mix
Sex: Neutered Male
Age: 13 years
Weight: 70 lbs
Animal Number: 0510

Sweet, Friendly, Happy, Loving Senior Gentleman with Plenty of Pep!

Good with dogs? Boo Radley is very friendly and well-mannered. He is excited to meet new dogs when he’s out walking on leash. It’s good to ask if the other dog is ready to meet a super happy Boo. When he meets another excited dog, he’ll be delighted to play, and when he meets a calm dog, he’ll sniff and move on.

Good with cats? Not Tested in foster care, but reportedly he did well with cats in his prior home. He is very sweet and would likely do well with any other nice animals.

Good with kids? Boo absolutely loves kids! He is excited to meet them, but in an appropriately calm way.

Energy level: Medium, and happily energetic for a senior boy! Boo enjoys taking walks and has adorable zoomie sessions. He will lie down and relax after a walk. He takes pain meds twice daily for his hips, so although he knows how to “sit,” it’s kindest not to ask him to get into that position. He is more interested in hanging out with people than playing with toys.

Animal Characteristics: Boo Radley is one of the friendliest, happiest dogs you will ever meet! He loves to meet new people everywhere he goes, including on walks, at the pumpkin patch and at the vet. At home, he’ll either follow you around, keeping you company and asking for pets, or he’ll snuggle up and nap next to you. He has not yet been observed barking. He likes his crate and will sleep in it, but prefers that the door be left open. Boo is always wagging his tail, smiling and ready to make your day full of joy and love. This precious boy lost his home when his family split up and he cannot wait to find his true forever person or family. He will thrive in an environment with people who want to love him and give him lots of attention, as so greatly he deserves!

Please learn more about the adoption process and fill out an application at www.pawsco.org/adopt/adoption-process.
