Boo Bear's Story

Meet Boo Bear!

This extremely handsome boy was found as a stray and held onto for almost 6 weeks while his rescuer tried to locate his owners. They contacted vet clinics and made social media posts hoping to find them, but without a microchip sadly no owners could be found. The rescuers then reached out to Adore since we have Rottweiler experience and our trainer went out to meet Boo Bear in person.

Boo Bear is estimated to be about 2-3 years old and weighs 82 lbs. He is on the smaller side for a male Rottie, but just as thick and dense. We suspect while he's on the smaller side, he was most likely from a breeder (we suspect backyard breeder since he wasn't microchipped).

We are looking for a home for Boo Bear who has Rottweiler experience since he is extremely sweet, but has a ton of breed specific traits which may be challenging for less experienced owners.

He needs a good amount of exercise and attention so be prepared for Boo Bear to be your next child! We think a home with time to give is a must- and he would do better with older and experienced kids about 8+ years old due to his size. His foster home is amazing and we would love to talk with anyone interested to see if Boo Bear might be a good match! He loves toys and his favorite game is fetch. Boo Bear has been a great house guest with manners and

He has been tested with other dogs and we believe he may do well with another large easy going dog who likes to play. A meet and greet would be the best route forward!

Boo Bear is neutered now, up to date on vaccines, and microchipped. He is heartworm negative and ready to meet his new forever parents!

Our adoption applications can be found at www.adorehouston.org/adoption-application/
