Bonnie's Story
Bonnie is a sweet, red-and-white Basset Hound who came to us alongside Clyde after spending her early life being used for breeding. Despite her past, Bonnie’s spirit is soft, loving, and incredibly calm — she’s the kind of dog who makes a house feel like home.

Bonnie is slightly smaller than Clyde and is currently working on gaining some healthy weight. She has a stunning red-and-white coat with no black, soulful eyes, and the gentle presence of a dog who truly just wants to be loved.

This girl is super chill, affectionate, and easy to live with. She thrives on couch cuddles, quiet companionship, and simply being near her people. Bonnie has a wonderful temperament and is going to make an exceptional companion for someone looking for a laid-back, loyal hound.

She’s doing well in foster care, settling into life as a cherished pet instead of a tool — learning that she’s safe, adored, and finally allowed to just be a dog. With patience and continued structure, Bonnie is blossoming more every day.

Bonnie would do best in a home with a yard (no apartments) and with people who appreciate and understand the Basset Hound breed and are ready to give her the peaceful, loving life she has always deserved.

If you’re searching for a gentle, affectionate, couch-loving companion, Bonnie is ready to curl up beside you and never look back.

First Step Is To Apply Now
[Apply Now](http://form.jotform.com/underdogca/dog-adoption-application)
For application updates, forwarding requests, or any questions, contact us at adopt@underdogca.com.
