Bonnie Coconut's Story

*SECOND CHANCES MAKE THE SWEETEST HAPPY ENDINGS!*

Hi there! My name is Bonnie Coconut, and I'm a sweet, happy girl looking for my second chance at forever.

After spending the last 4 years with my family, life took an unexpected turn, and through no fault of my own, I found myself back with GPRA. While it was a big change, I've settled beautifully into my foster home and am ready to find the family I'm meant to spend the rest of my life with.

If you're looking for an easygoing companion, I might be your perfect match! I'm completely house-trained, have great leash manners, and know commands like Sit and Come. I love going for walks, riding in the car, and tagging along wherever my people go. Honestly, I'm happiest just being part of the family.

I'm a loving, gentle girl who enjoys meeting new people and does wonderfully with children. I also get along great with other dogs! In fact, I'd really love a home with another large dog because I absolutely enjoy having a canine buddy to play with. (The only friends I need to skip are cats—they make my allergies act up!)

Bath time? No problem! Grooming? Easy peasy! I'm well-mannered, don't guard my food, and have the kind of calm, loving personality that makes me a wonderful companion.

All I want is a family to love, a comfy place to rest my head, and someone to share life's adventures with. I have so much love left to give, and I can't wait to find the forever home where I truly belong.

Could that be with you?

Great Pyrenees Rescue of Atlanta's Adoption Policy
Great Pyrenees are the southeasts best kept secret. We are a magnificent and majestic breed that is one of the best dogs a family can own - we really are. We are gentle giants loved by all because we combine two characteristics that are hard to beat. First, we are terrific family pets. We are lovable and gentle with children - we love them even when they treat us like massive fluff balls! Second, and where we differ from most house pets, we are protectors. I tend to be the witty observer but my big brother Jenkins is a typical Great Pyrenees and he is amazing as he patrols our property watching for anything unusual. He takes his job very seriously. Great Pyrenees were bred as working dogs and our "job" in the home is to protect our "family". We have regular adoption days - usually every other Saturday from 11am until 1 pm at the Perimeter Petsmart in Atlanta, GA visit our website to see current adoption days

Our Mission
Our main mission at GPRA is to find the right permanent home for Great Pyrenees in distress, whether they are strays or from an overpopulated kill or no-kill shelter. We don’t care how old they are or what their medical condition is because we will make sure they receive a comprehensive medical evaluation, spaying or neuter...
