Bonnie's Story
Meet Bonnie! Bonnie is a sweet 1-2 year old small Lab mix weighing about 35 pounds. When she first came into rescue, she was completely shut down and fearful of the world. After seven months in a loving foster home, she's learned that people aren't so scary after all. Bonnie is still shy and prefers affection on her own terms, but once she feels safe she'll ask for pets with gentle paw nudges and happily snuggle in bed with you. She absolutely loves other dogs and must have a confident canine companion in her home to help her feel secure. Bonnie enjoys chewing on bones, playing with balls, and running around the yard with her dog friends. She is house and crate trained, though she's a clever escape artist and needs a secure setup. Bonnie is a homebody who prefers a calm life, a fenced yard, and a patient family willing to give her the time she needs to fully blossom. With love and understanding, Bonnie becomes a laid-back, affectionate girl who will quietly steal your heart. If you're interested in meeting Bonnie, please apply below!<br/>#DoggoneHappyAnimalRescue
